Initial paper work to explore caputring darkness and using only natural daylight.
More advanced work with capturing daylight and exploring what the light can do with Cecilie in my class.Cineographer Carl Langes was with us to direct this part of the workshop. We decided to try and create a beam of light using a focused area of daylight by blocking out the whole window and only alllowing a specific area of light through a cone and bringing it inside a darkened room that we created. We used alluminion foil to intensify the brightness of our light and encouraged the viewer to experience the drastic difference of the dark room and the bright light by putting text at the end of the cone for the viewer to look into and see. It was difficult to create a completely darkened room but our outcome was quite succesfull and the other people in the workshop and tutors-(Hilde Hauan Johnson and Mette L'Orange) enjoyed the experience that we created.
